World Class Reliability and Performance
The Mamiya RZ67 Pro IID is the natural evolution of the legendary RZ Pro II, the industry standard used by many of today’s most renowned photographers and artists because of its large 6x7cm ideal format negative size, over four and a half times larger than 35mm. The use of digital backs, such as the Mamiya ZD Back or others, is easy through direct, digital communication with the camera body.
Also notable are the RZ’s ultra-high performance lenses, and multi-format versatility. Distinctive features include a convenient revolving back, bellows focusing, large, bright viewfinder, and extensive system of accessories.
Unbeatable combination
The Mamiya RZ Professional system has long been one of the favorite camera systems in the world. It is no wonder, when you look at its combination of smart, photographer friendly features, and its world-renowned optics. From its legendary "Ideal Format", almost perfect for making 8 1/2 x 11 proportional images with virtually no image cropping or format waste, to its unique revolving back, which provides vertical or horizontal composing, the Mamiya RZ Professional system has earned the respect of professional photographers around the world.
Now with the demand from photographers to provide clients with clearly superior digital image quality, Mamiya introduces the new RZ80, 33 and 22 digital camera kits with Mamiya/Leaf digital backs. They are the result of an evolution into the next generation of digital large sensor cameras. They offer advanced microprocessor technology for direct communication of all camera functions to their 80mp, 33mp or 22mp digital back through the MSC (Mamiya Serial Communication) system. The result is cable-free digital operation just as smooth and trouble-free as shooting with film.
Of course the new RZ80, 33 and 22 offer professional photographers the same exclusive features of its legendary predecessors such as:
Focusing
Rack and pinion bellows focusing, with left and right course and fine focusing adjustment knobs plus a locking focus lever. The bellows focusing system provides for close-up focusing capabilities with every RZ lens, as well as infinity focusing—all without mounting-and-unmounting cumbersome adapters.
Lenses
Interchangeable Mamiya world-class quality lenses, with built-in leaf shutters offer shutter speeds from 8 to 1/400sec. (plus T-setting for up 32 seconds). Electronic flash synchronization is achieved at all shutter speeds and intermediate shutter speeds can be set on the camera’s speed dial setting for more critical digital exposure control.
Interchangeable Viewfinders
Choose from the waist-level finder (included) for low-angle versatility, or one of the eye-level prisms, such as the AE Prism Finder FE701 which provides A/S Matrix metering, 1/6 f/stops exposure accuracy plus an LED function display in the viewfinder.
Interchangeable power winder (optional)
The Power Winder 2 is powered by AA batteries or an AC Adapter and adds ease of use by cocking the shutter and resetting the mirror automatically. It produces single or sequential exposures at about 1 frame per second. It can also be remote controlled with radio or infrared transmitters.
Many fail-safe system checks, warn the photographer both with visual and audible warning alert signals. And as you would expect, the new RZ80, RZ33 and RZ22 are system compatible with all existing RZ lenses and most accessories.

210mm f/4.5 APO
The 210mm f/4.5 APO is the shortest of Mamiya’s 6x7cm
format APO series lenses. It utilizes computer-aided design and Mamiya’s
ultra-low dispersion glass for elimination of chromatic abberation. The
extensive use of low dispersion glass makes APO lenses heavier and more costly
than standard design telephoto lenses.
Typically, lenses over
200mm focal length show decreased sharpness, resolution and color saturation due
to increased chromatic aberration, especially at wider apertures. The Mamiya APO
Series are specifically designed to give the utmost performance in telephoto
design lenses, yielding consistent, unparalleled image quality.
No other medium format lens manufacturer offers such a series of APO
telephoto lenses, optimized for a wide range of apertures and distances for
commercial applications, not just at infinity focus, as traditional medium
format APO designs.
Applications include commercial and table top photography, landscape, aerial,
wildlife, sports, portrait, beauty, and fashion photography, where ultimate
image quality from a long focal length and an image compression effect, is
desired.

180mm f/4 Variable Soft Focus
The 180mm f/4
VSF lens is a compact mid range telephoto lens. It yields a good camera to
subject distance, slight flattening of portrait subjects, and exceptional
sharpness.
The unique optical design essentially has an ?optically correct
center,? which can produce a sharp image virtually equal to a standard 180mm
lens, when an aperture of f/8 or smaller is used. The edges of the lens elements
are designed to induce ?spherical aberration,? which creates a dreamy, soft
focus effect when the lens is used at apertures wider than f/8. Unlike common
soft focus attachments that simply degrade a sharp image, the RZ 180mm VSF can
?build? a soft focus image using its unique combination of spherical aberration
and diffusion disks. The result is tremendous creative control for effect from
dramatic to subtle.
Three supplementary disks are supplied with the lens, and fit internally in
the lens barrel. The three disks are labeled No.1 (5), No.2(5.6) and No.3 (6.3).
The numbers in parentheses are the approximate f/stops to which the lens
diaphragm, when set to f/4, is modified. The disks, numbered one, two and three,
have different diameter holes in the center, surrounded by numerous smaller
holes extending toward the edges of the disks. These small holes act like
multiple diaphragms, overlaying softer images on top of the sharp image
projected through the center hole. The overall level of sharpness is controlled
by the diaphragm opening and choice of disk. Also, whether or not a disk is used
at all.
Applications include fashion, beauty, and portraiture, commercial and
advertising work.
For more information on use of Mamiya soft focus lenses, see photographer
John Woodward?s comments on the use of the similarly designed Mamiya RB 150mm
f/4 soft focus lens.

180mm f/4.5 Short Barrel
The 180mm SB
f/4.5 is a compact mid range telephoto lens. It yields a good camera to subject
distance, slight flattening of portrait subjects and exceptional sharpness. This
short barrel lens allows for continuous focusing from infinity to close-up when
attached to the Tilt/Shift Adapter. The 180mm SB f/4.5 is optically identical to
the RZ 180mm f/4.5 W-N. It covers a wide image area and allows full use of the
Tilt/Shift Adapter?s capabilities.
The 180mm SB f/4.5 may be used on the RZ camera without the Tilt/Shift
Adapter. To use like the standard 180mm lens the 27.2mm Spacer must be
attached.
Applications include portraiture, fashion, landscape and sports.
Equivalent to 87mm in 35mm format.

100-200mm f/5.2 Zoom
The
100-200mm f/5.2 Zoom features a 14 element 12 group design with a focal length
range that is ideal for studio use. One lens can be used for full length
portraits to head shots eliminating the need to change lenses, synch cords or
camera position, throughout a sitting. Because of Mamiya computer aided design
and manufacturing techniques, the 100-200mm Zoom provides image performance
equal to prime focal length lenses. It offers a choice of helicoid or camera
bellows focusing. A tripod support bracket is included which is compatible with
the RZ67 Pro II both with and without the Power Winder Model II mounted on the
camera body.
Applications include studio portraiture, fashion and landscape photography.
Equivalent to 48-97mm zoom in 35mm format.

Spacer for the Short Barrel Lenses
The Spacer is designed for use with the Short
Barrel Lenses. It provides for the full focusing range of the Short Barrel
lenses, making them equivalent to the standard lenses of equal focal length.
When using the Short Barrel lenses without the Tilt/Shift Adapter or Spacer the
bellows must be extended 27.5mm to reach infinity focus. This distance is the
same distance provided by the Tilt/Shift Adapter or the Spacer. Cat. #213-376.
Weight: 11.8 oz., 335 g.
